Crathes Castle

Cosmo was told the Christmas Tree was being assembled this morning, and it might be best if she took herself for a walk while this was work in progress. We volunteered to take her to Crathes.for a few hours.

On arrival we had a soup at the cafe. Cosmo waited patiently under the table. We then took her for a ramble around the garden. Though she could not visit the walled garden, there would not have been much to see at this time of year anyway.

By the time we took her home the tree was assembled and decorated. Generally Cosmo does approve of alterations, but she did not seem to mind the arrival of the tree. She did give the three gonks that had also appeared a suspicious look. But then concluded they could safely be ignored.

The weather at Crathes was cool, there was a little warmth in the sun during the few moments during which it appeared from behind the cloud.
