First day

Today was my first day at the Mission Hospital- todays blip proves how different it is compared to ones in the UK. It's a beautiful building, albeit a bit worn. I've started in paediatrics, and having seen scores of kids with dengue fever, my mosquito paranoia has reached all new levels: I'm going to start bathing in DEET!
I think this first week is going to be tiring, as I get used to how the system works over here, but the doctors I'm with seem very nice, I'm looking forward to the next 8 weeks.
