Aurora

its been a freezing cold day today - gloriously crisp and bright. Then tonight about 6 there was an amber aurora alert followed by a red one so I rushed out [ before getting ready to go to a friends for supper] and managed some photos. There is however also an almost full moon so there was a lot of light around. This was one of the better flares of colour I managed to get.
Dinner was great too :)
