View From the Bridge

The coldest day of the autumn so far, a light frost first thing & just a few degrees above freezing for the rest of the day. Did a 10K run in Thetford Forest, starting from Santon Downham. The route took us along the Little Ouse, along a path to the left of the scene shown here, then back through the forest - we encountered everything from tarmac to loose sand, plus everything in between, underfoot. Cold, but lovely scenery & colours, though slightly muted due to the flat light. P & S went for a separate walk in the forest and, because they weren't back when I'd finished, I walked down to the little bridge to take a quick phone snap of the river.
