Cobbled together

This house number sign at the end of a driveway is supported by a post, a branch and rebar, and is held together with random bits of wire. The numbers are mounted on a piece of wood that was painted but the paint is peeling, and it's hung with wire on a twig stuck into the rebar. Making do with whatever's handy! It's survived for many years and likely will last for a few more. 
I went for a slow walk up the quiet country road beside ours then through a trail that leads from that road back to ours. Lovely and peaceful on a cold day.
