Coffee At The Fife Arms, Braemar.

The weather has been reasonable so far. Reasonably dry. Reasonably sunny. Reasonably Calm. Reasonably Mild.

We have explored more of the countryside along the River Dee. We stopped in at the Fife Arms Hotel for coffee, and to give Alan and Kate the opportunity to see some of the art for which the hotel is renowned.

Today’s Entry shows the fireplace in the lounge. This magnificent sculpture in mahagony and pine features scenes from the poems and songs of Robert Burns.

The fireplace was removed from Montrave House, near Leven many years ago.
