Keep Out

A rainy walk to Greenway.
We’ve done this in all weathers and different seasons. We are always wary of these farmyard geese.
In the background is the river Dart. Next landmark is Galmpton Mill Creek, in extra. The wooden boat in extra, is now in many pieces. I have blipped the boat on several occasions. It will stay there until it is washed away because it is unlucky to move or disturb a wooden wreck. There was a Siamese cat from the converted mill exploring it today. My uncle told me once a cat on board was unlucky, as were women, and countless other things. He should know, he was quite unlucky, being once stuck in mud in the Humber estuary, and rescued together with the woman he was with, by helicopter. He was not married to his guest. For reasons unknown they had abandoned ship.
To compound his bad luck the rescue was reported in the Daily Telegraph,
and names were named. Two previous blips below.
