Last of the light (Day 3122)

I started the day with a trip to town to collect some bits, then headed for Evie where I did the last of the first fix drainage in the massive trench. With that done I filled the trench, packing sand and small bits of stone in any voids under the soil pipe to make sure it doesn't sag over time. It took ages to do.
I took off some plasterboard and worked out where my first fix pipework will run for the shower, basin and loo, and got holes drilled and fixings ready for the pipes.
I stopped for a late lunch, then headed for Stromness to measure up a job that I will have to do in the new year, then along to Outertown to fit an electric shower. The view from the house is cracking.
Back home to share the couch with my beautiful wife and Sigyn for the evening before a trip to Westray tomorrow.
