Road closed

Cold but not a breath of wind 
We parked ar Abbey House and walked through the grounds then down the path to Furness Abbey. We walked round to the 'Amphitheatre ' and on to the path to the farm.  A nice long relaxing walk 

Blip shows the road that has now been 'temporarily ' closed  for 4+ years. This is apparently because the road that goes over the railway tunnel is not safe . Although there is no through road it is ironical that it is possible to still drive over that particular piece of road even if they cant travel much farther. Also, the trains are passing under without any problem . Curious. 

Recently  they have put up 2 permanent signs.  The yellow sign is already out of date!
