Pre-formal

Just cancelled our Moruya trip because of the forecast multiday deluge (with associated floods).

Before that decision - thought we’d better check my daughter still fitted her formal dress (we were due to return the day before the big event) since she hasn’t really tried it since we bought it on eBay this time last year. Close up of the shoes (Salvos) in extras.

This may be the only photo I get since she will be preparing with friends this year on the big day (a big change from Year 10 where her friends of the time ghosted her and then we embarrassed her by dropping her off a block away so she had to limp in past everyone rather than make the big fancy car red carpet entrance. We couldn’t even plead ignorance which was the reason we’d done the same thing to my son three years earlier! Different venue though)
