Under the Wollemi pine

Yesterday evening I noticed a tiny fungus growing under our Wollemi pine. It was about the size of an average fingernail. Then this morning I came out to this! I shouldn't be surprised - they have a habit of growing like Topsy. I took the photo at about 10am.

Time passed. Later today they looked like my extra. The runt of the litter remains one.
