Pool

Earlier I walked across to the loch in search of a rock pool but was sidetracked by the colours and the view. And the burn which runs into the loch; The sun light was bouncing off it and a few metres before the turn into the loch a pool had formed where the water had cut into the bank. The pool was clear in a brackish way the colour blending with the bright green weed on the stone and bank. It wasn't until later I noticed the reflection of the cloud.

We have had another good day with an occasional dark cloud which didn't come to anything; there was a pleasant breeze to keep most of the midges away, and warm sunshine to make us all feel 'ahh there's no finer place'......
