Turnstones at the Pacific

BACKBLIP #2: On the day celebrated as Thanksgiving in the USA, Sue and I walked by the ocean and talked about our many gratitudes. Endless. And all we wish for others. Also endless.

She identified these tiny sea birds as Turnstones. 

Later we had Thanksgiving dinner at Ona restaurant, and the food was so bad it was comical. It was easily the worst meal either of us has ever eaten on Thanksgiving. We didn't even know till now that good food could be made to taste so terrible. A meal to remember with laughter.
