Way Out East

Today we got to see where we were staying, a quite different landscape to the hills back in the west; up in the hills, surrounded by trees. We went a walk further up the hills in the morning, then after lunch down to the big smoke Winthrop. It is a skiing and outdoors area here so usually very busy, but not before the snow - these are not genuine western buildings, but they looked impressive all the same - I reckon the gas pumps are older than the buildings. Back home for a leftovers dinner then a marathon, addictive jigsaw session.
