Tourists

The days are really getting so short. I left for Edinburgh in darkness and by 1.30 the afternoon seemed to be closing in. I needed to do another recce of the Water of Leith which was just as well because an irritating diversion is in place which would have thrown me if I didn’t know about it.
I made several short extensions including one to Modern Two in Dean Village and the Decades|The Art of Change. My favourite was Duane Hanson’s Tourists.
Several kingfishers, swathes of goosanders and a heron every couple of kilometres.
The shoe tree in Saughton was a bit of puzzle. Perhaps the skateboarders dispose of their unwanted kit there, it’s next door to the skate park.
