Like Herding Cats .........

Actually, it is really easy to scoop these two up and hang onto them - they love being picked up... and the wee one will spend half the afternoon playing with a springy fishing rod type toy stuck down the edge of a chair.

It was a hard frost this morning so I had to scrape the car before going over to get the monsters off too school. They are at that age (well - he is) where everything is a chore and worthy of an argument.

After getting home and having breakfast I made a big pot of chicken and vegetable soup before going out a making bird beaks on the lathe.
I didn't stay out for long - there is no heating out there!

There was an Oak burr dish started but not finished as we had to be back at Bags' for the end of the school day.
Although the car had been parked in the sun all day, I still had to scrape it again. The melted frost on the car roof wasn't ..... it was solid ice and the scratches are actually the formation of the next round of frost.
