Eyes of Wonder

There’s nothing like the eyes of the tufted titmouse, round like doll’s eyes • A busy day of errands, all while it was spitting snow which made it very festive with holiday music playing • The last of MrsP’s Christmas gifts arrived this afternoon. Unlike Eunice and Nanzy, I don’t have to remind her not to snoop or peek :) Soon they’ll be wrapped and left out for her to see and ponder. I’m such a tease but honestly it bothers me more than it does her. It’s hard not giving them to her now, but I promise I’ll remain strong!! • We caught some of the former First Lady Rosalynn Carter’s funeral today on TV. What a life she had giving to others, and so loved by her family. A remarkable woman. Jimmy is 99 and can now let go • More hostages released, with more (I hope not the final day) tomorrow.
