Before the storm

Not our house - the house up the road is on the market - but honestly we wouldn't want to take it on.  It was built in the 1890's and is a seriously weird design.  Huge block and far too much work.  That fenced off area is (or was) a swimming pool.  It would cost squillions to get rid of it and replace.

As you may or may not know, Adelaide was hit with an enormous storm.  Luckily we didn't get flooded, but we did get rain through most of the southern facing windows, and through the roof in places.  Some properties were badly flooded especially down the hill.  Our rain gauge told me that we got more than 2" of rain.  

We're not used to it!
