I went to Omagh Gardening Clubs annual lecture The guest speaker was the very knowledgeable & entertaining Brendan Little, frequently on Radio Ulster Gardeners Corner on a Saturday morning. He spoke for about 90 minutes with a slide show (the hotel's techie guy had never seen a slide projector before this evening) to illustrate plants & various gardens, without notes. It was an excellent turnout & he was suitably applauded after the talk.
