Thames Wandering

Walking from Waterloo to Battersea Park along the river.
We walked there and back, which turned out to be 21 kms with all the other wanderings we did as we went, some deliberately and others inadvertently.
Lovely lunch in a pub, the Duchess Belle, right next to the Battersea Power Station, but not part of its hyper-commercial offerings.
Walking back we saw the sun go down, illuminating the skies in a lovely way. The day slowly darkened, the lights came on, and the tourists reappeared as we neared Waterloo again.
