My mum came to stay briefly this weekend, bringing Superman in a Superman backpack - how super-grown-up for Pete.

The sun shone with all its might for the fun day in the park - I manned two stalls, and my mum went round the rest of them, entering me in all the competition. They went to a magic show while I sold tickets to a beery talk.
