Footprints and Water Trails
on Ardross beach again this morning. Geordie chased his ball while I searched for and collected some rocks for painting. Again there was not a soul to be seen, well apart from the Coast and Countryside Trust worker who we met just as we arrived. He was beach cleaning, a massive job at the moment. Today it was mainly creels and ropes he was gathering, by the dozen, in the wee bay where he was working. We chatted for a minute about all the storm damage and debris strewn on the beaches, and yet when we walked on, because there are big tides at the moment, the long section of beach we were on was spotless. Swept clean by the waves.
