Ginkgo leaves
I told you I would use these autumn leaves in my pottery lessons.
My teacher gave me the idea of decorating my vase with the gingko leaves that I had just collected in a garden before entering class.
I stuck the leaves to the wet vase and drew their edges with a black pencil, then removed the leaves and applied a layer of wax inside the leaf silhouettes.
When it's all dry, I have to do something else that I don't know what yet because I'll learn it in my next lesson, and then I'll show you the result!
In the extra you can also see the two salad bowls I am working on; I still don't know how I will decorate them.
