Peewit
A quick visit to the Heritage Park to find a blip for today. The first birds I spotted after parking the car were the two lapwings who were standing, feet in the cold water, at the bottom of the slipway. There used to be a flock of about a dozen visiting every winter but the numbers have decreased and now there are only two. They don't do anything apart from standing still like statues.
Much colder this morning but clear and bright .... my favourite weather.
Some patches of ice on the side of the loch which is completely shaded at this time of year.
