32 Saxe Coburg Place, Edinburgh

My wanderings today took me to Saxe Coburg Place in the Stockbridge area of Edinburgh.  My great grandparents John Campbell and Annie Laird were married at number 32 in 1896.  It was then the home of Andrew Keay who was the minister at the Stockbridge Free Church. 

John was 18 years old and Annie 16.  They were married for 14 years when John died in 1910 from pleurisy and puenmonia aged only 32. Annie went on to live until 1957.
