Granddaughter I's nativity play at school today. She played the part of Star No 3 and Innkeeper No 2!  She had to learn words for both parts which she remembered and spoke them loudly and clearly.  How quickly children grow  up, it wasn't long ago when she was in the Nursery and played the part of a sheep.

Today was a sad day as the news came through that a great friend had succumbed with her battle with the cancer.  B was a very special person and had been so strong and courageous but now she is at peace.

Cold today but no frost, about 6 C.
