Beaver

Caspar and I walked a bit further upstream along the Gersprenz. Close to the border between our and the next borough we saw this tree.
Beavers had quite recently almost all around the tree eaten the bark away.
Caspar did me a favour and posed next to the tree, so you can see how large it is.
I wonder whether they will continue and in the end cut it down. We will now go there more regularly.
Actually, I had seen traces of nutrias. But this size is clearly beaver. So they are still around, yeah!!
