Mouse in the house

I disassembled and cleaned out the kitchen extractor fan yesterday. Today it developed some strange noises even when it wasn’t switched on, so it all had to come out again. This unhappy chap fell out of it, seeming none the worse for wear, but a little exhausted. Against all the rules of vermin control, it was quietly released into the wild at some distance from the house. If you live in a house in the country, they will always find a way in somewhere.
