The Painter . . . Neil Young

Todays walk found Jen and I exploring the Matai River further.  This time we started in the city and walked east to where we started last week.  The inner city houses give way  to open land and once again there are shady trees.  The river looked very clean and I could see the shingle bottom.  On the opposite bank to us there were some large wooden homes.  In the city there are some smart new apartment builds.  This mural on a garage door caught our eye.  Painted by Yelz a Nelson graffiti artist.
