Evening entertainment

Once I finish sewing up this little cardigan I will dive into the book. Elin Hilderbrand’s novels are easy reading, most are set on the Island of Nantucket. I can’t concentrate on anything too deep at the moment. 

Still raining on and off all day here. Bob fixed the mower and cut the grass in the back garden. I cut out a pair of shorts for summer. I made a pair last month which seem to fit well so I’m using the same pattern. The last lot have material that doesn’t crush and drapes well but they are a bit hot and scratchy. This material has been in my sewing box for decades and will hopefully be useful. 

Summer tomorrow. Here I sit with a jumper on….brr. The hot weather will be a shock when it arrives.
