Eryri from Tremeirchion
WEDNESDAY
A bitterly cold night gave way to a sunny and clear morning. There was a temperature inversion in the Vale of Clwyd, the Denbigh Moors were bathed in sunshine and more snow had fallen on the distant mountains of Eryri. I took this photograph from inside the living room with the patio door open.
It was day three of the new boiler installation and we have now gone over 48 hours without central heating or hot water. By the end of the afternoon everything was up and running and I can now schedule and control temperatures in eight rooms independently from the iPhone.
I submitted this photograph to the BBC Weather Watchers web page and it was chosen for the 6:30 pm BBC Wales weather forecast (see extra).
