St. Andrew's Day and my birthday
The Feast Day of Saint Andrew, patron of Scotland.
I was up at 7am and the Moon was looking beautifully luminous in the clear blue sky. The garden was
frosty and Paul and me both thought it could be light snow. It is minus one but feels like minus three.
I dressed warmly in my favourite Mountain Warehouse kit and boots. I walked slowly to the Best One shop for our paper. The paths were potentially hazardous but not really slippery.
When I got back home, Hunter watched me from the conservatory, as I filled the bird feeders. The water was frozen solid. The grey bin lid would not open because it was frozen too.
We are going to visit Oswaldtwistle Mills later.
Enjoy a wonderful time and keep warm.
