The Glory!

We walked up Red Screes in sunshine but as we approached the summit a tiny bank of mist blew up from the valley, providing just the right conditions for a Brocken Spectre.  Here's my magnified shadow (the spectre) surrounded by an iridescent spectrum around my head (the glory, resembling a halo).  The effect differs from person to person, so this is my personal halo and nobody else's!  
(The name comes from the Brocken, a peak in the Harz Mountains in Germany where it was first noted.)
