Woodpecker on snow

I have seen a woodpecker eating from snow before, keeping its feet firmly on a tree trunk, but this is the first time I have seen one on ground.

I had to take Jussi to school today, as his car was there for welding and painting the front fenders, and it was ready today. It's now better than in a long time!

In the afternoon slightly exciting driving the small tractor in the woods after using a fuel additive to make the summer fuel usable in the winter yesterday. Not sure how well it works, when the outdoor temperature is a few degrees below what the summer fuel is usable in, while it should be at least five degrees above, when it's mixed. The fuel was probably warm enough after driving for a couple hours though. More exciting times ahead, as the temperature is going down little by little again.
