Red tail

I took a walk today without Laney and could take my time scanning the skies for birds. I saw this Red-tailed hawk soaring far, far, away and trained my camera on it hoping it would come closer. Well it never did. So I fired off a few shots hoping for the best. This photo is cropped within an inch of its life, but I liked the way the red tail stands out.
