Snow Flurries!

I didn't anticipate waking up to a covering of snow as thick, and as widespread, as I did this morning. Luckily the main roads were all gritted and I could make my way down my road to one. I couldn't go in the black ice rink car park at school but to be honest, the slope the car park requires going up to get into it, I would've opted to give it a miss most likely anyway on a day like today!! :-P

The snow and ice haven't shifted all day making for treacherous conditions on untreated roads and pavements. My stroll was a combination of finding the most snow covered areas which were not slippy, and tiptoeing on the edge of the gritted roads. All good fun and fresh air. :-D
