Big Clean Day

Excitement waking this morning ... SNOW. Rarely snows down here, especially in November. (OK - it is the last day of the month). It didn't settle though, and disappeared by mid-morning.

'A' and family arrive tomorrow for the weekend, staying at a friend's AirBnB 5 mns away by car. So spent the morning cleaning, tidying, and sorting some cupboards. Also tried, unsuccessfully, to adjust the hinge on an Ikea sideboard door. Luckily the caretaker fixed it in 2 mns.

Finally all done at around 4pm. Was getting dark, we're usually back home by then. But good to break routines. So bus to Boscombe and had a glass of decent wine at Deus ex Machina, before getting a couple of things in Lidl.
