Wintery Rods

A fine day, some sunny spells, fairly calm, the odd shower which was wintery at times, and a cold clear night with a hard frost.

Up early, headed out walkies after breakfast.  Nipped into Lerwick to browse through shops.  Late shift in the airport again, and a busy day of passengers.  I've been meeting and boarding flights, all on time, apart from out last Aberdeen, 15 mins delay due to de-icing.  Popped by Laura's on my way home, mam was there too.  She's had a great day relaxing and looking after no. 1.  A lovely evening for walkies, but the poop bins were frozen shut.  Warm by the fire now.

Another yellow ice warning for us tonight, and they aren't wrong.  Various wintery showers and ice around, you never know when you might come across it.  Travelling home tonight, some idiot rushed by my doing at least 80mph.  Hope they got home safely, and more importantly, didn't hurt anyone else.  A quick shower hit on my way to work, thankfully nothing serious but a quick covering.  Taken on the Clifts road A970, Cunningsburgh.
