Bug no.2

Yesterday I shook a million of these bug...s off our two young Callistemons (bottlebrushes). Today? Back in force! I don't know if they're a shield bug or not, and if any kind blipper could advise me I'ld be most grateful, and can work out how to get rid of them... unless they turn out to be angels in disguise (which I somehow doubt).
