Here I am in Ilkley at the start of the Dales WaySix days to walk 82 miles. Can I do it? Great start with a visit to Betty's Tearooms(a place I consider my spiritual home) I went to college in Ilkley, many years ago, although it no longer exists as a college but as some rather exclusive looking apartments. Whilst most students spend their higher education swilling pints or pernod and blacks, I spent mine drinking tea and eating fancy cakes in Bettys. This explains a lot.
