Winter

It's been a fair day weather-wise, cold but sunny.  We went for a little walk this morning then drove to the Rose and Crown in Portway, near Birmingham. We met Sam there and had a very good meal and chat before exchanging Christmas presents.

The pub was nice and cosy, log burner in the bar, and excellent service. Even the coffee was good.  A very pleasant couple of hours.
