Crepuscular rays

Strange day today, we said goodbye to DJ’s eldest cousin at his funeral ceremony this afternoon. We couldn’t greet his wife, children and grandchildren and other family members before the ceremony and we needed to depart as soon as the ceremony ended to get to the opposite part of the country where DJ’s student club is celebrating their 50th dies day. On the way to the funeral ceremony I saw these crepuscular rays and thought they were a sign of light and hope in these dark days.
