I Have Questions...

Having stayed the night in central Glasgow, this morning we went to the car in the multi-story car park and spotted this car with snow on the bonnet. So, if there was no snow anywhere near Glasgow (and we didn't drive through any on the way home either) how far did someone have to drive, without the snow melting or falling off to get to this location?
I don't understand!
