Evening Woodland Walk

There is a light covering of snow in the morning, however most of the snow showers pass to the east and south. It might last a day or so as the temperature is set to stay around 0. There is enough snow to make it fairly festive, see Extra.

In the evening, to avoid having to descend on slippy slopes in the dark, partner and I go for a walk in the woods. The path can clearly be seen, even as the light fades. However it hasn't yet been cold enough to makes the earth as hard as iron, and water isn't hard as stone. It's a bit mushy in places.
