Off to Berlin

Spent the morning packing and were off to the airport just after 11 am.
Had some time in the lounge before leaving for Amsterdam.

We were on an unusual flight - earlier also with an earlier flight to Berlin but a long overlay in Schiphol.
And guess what - our usual flight got cancelled!!!
If we had not booked this weird connection we would not have left!!!!
Grateful for the Universe making me book the lunchtime flight!

Spent more time in the lounge in Schiphol then boarded for Berlin.
The flight took off late due to fog and we arrived in B at 10 pm.
Took S-and U-Bahn and were home at 11:30 pm!

Unpacked and went to Turandot for your welcome beer.

In bed after 2 am ....
