Rosa “The Fairy”

This delightful shrub rose is flowering in the garden at present. It is called “The Fairy” and its little flowers remind me of tiny fairy tutus.
I’ve had a quiet day at home. Catching up with washing and luckily getting bed linen dry outdoors before any predicted rain arrives. The garden will be glad of any rain. It is very dry. As is the Taylor River. It is flowing downstream from the footbridge near the confluence with Doctors Creek but there are long stretches of dry shingle bed further upstream. . Bring on some rain.
