IT'S BEGINNING TO FEEL A LOT LIKE CHRISTMAS!

Hello Lovely Blippers,

JH Ted  here - I thought it was about time I wrote to you again - and here we are, at the beginning of December - and we are all so excited!  

Not only has Mr. HCB brought the tree downstairs - complete with lights and baubles, which sounds rather silly, but it works - but that means that the HCBs don’t have to bother about putting all the lights on the tree again, because they are already there!  There is also lots of tinsel and we do love playing with it and swathing it all around us and even hiding underneath it and then jumping out to frighten Mrs. HCB.

We watched carefully as Mr. HCB put the tree on the floor and then we all jumped up onto the sofa and draped the tinsel all around us - there is even someone new on the sofa with us.  You might be able to spot Rufus the Reindeer, who has been busy all year fattening up so that he will be able to help pull Santa’s sleigh, and also you can just see Elvis the Elf - we don’t have naughty elves here, just the one, who is very good and always kind and helpful.

On the left, just behind Snowy, you will see another new member of the gang - Tatty Bear in a reindeer costume - Mrs. HCB spotted him in her favourite charity shop, DEBRA, a few weeks ago, and had to buy it because she thought he would fit in rather well with the Silly Saturday Gang and we’re sure he will.  We think that Admirer would be happy to see us all and would be smiling.

It’s still very cold, although Mr. HCB is out in the garden cutting down all the shrubs and plants that have been blackened by the frost just lately, so I expect he will want a hot chocolate soon - so that’s a good excuse for us to have one too and one of the chocolates that Mrs. T gave us a few weeks ago when she visited.

Some of the Gang will be going away for a few weeks - for Christmas and then for a little holiday, probably somewhere snowy, so it was good that we were all together today, although we’re not quite sure when they’re going.  However, for the rest of the day we are going to have fun with the tinsel.
