No Waxwings

Got a tip that there were some Waxwings in Joppa around lunchtime. I'd been doing some weeding at the Town Hall with another volunteer in the morning but wandered along in the afternoon to see if I could find the Waxwings. No joy, but on the street where they had been seen I watched a dozen Long Tailed Tits working their way along the trees in the street on on the way home along the beach there were a small group of Sanderlings. They kept being scared off by people walking their dogs but managed a few shots as they scurried around along the water's edge in their characteristic manner.
