Brrrr

No thaw today…I was supposed to go north to sort out the Christmas decorations but cancelled last night. Had a lovely lie in this morning and woke quite refreshed after yesterday’s migraine. After brunch I finished cleaning the sitting room and was just dismantling the Dyson to give it a good clean when the phone call came through asking if I’d have the wee one tonight!

Walked up to the other grandparents to pick him up as the car was still white…as was our road. Once into the main village things had been gritted so it was easier walking. The sitting room now looks lived in again…I didn’t want neat and tidy anyway!!

The trees were glistening very prettily as I walked up the road this afternoon so they’ve become my blip.
