Dunsapie Loch

Things were looking a bit grim for parkrun this morning due to the weather. Edinburgh cancelled, as did many more round Scotland. We dithered about, felt a bit lazy and were on the point of giving it a miss and instead having a careful jog round our local park, when at the last minute Chris  decided we would go to Holyrood which was still going ahead. As it turned out, the route was fine, with some frost, but no slippery bits, and it was really a rather lovely morning. Just over 400 folk turned up, plus volunteer marshals. As usual, I was really glad we’d made the effort.

Not much in the way of wildlife to be seen on Dunsapie Loch as we passed by, but it did look rather chilly!
